2025 RAA Bay to Birdwood Route

While there are no full road closures along most of the RAA Bay to Birdwood route, temporary speed restrictions and limited lane closures will be in place at various points on Sunday 19 October 2025. Motorists should expect changed traffic conditions and follow all signage and directions to ensure safety throughout the event. Please refer to the Event Notice for full details on all changes to traffic conditions.

Please note there may also be changed traffic conditions along the official route due to roadworks currently being undertaken on North East Road between Houghton and Gumeracha. Please refer to the Department for Infrastructure and Transport’s website for more information.

Vehicles are set to depart Barratt Reserve, West Beach from approximately 8:15am.

First vehicles are set to pass the ABC Building, Collinswood from approximately 8:35am.

First vehicles are set to pass Civic Park, Modbury from approximately 8:50am.

First vehicles are set to pass through Gumeracha from approximately 9:15am.

If you are planning to watch the parade of historic motoring along the event route, please remember the following:

• Follow the directions of SA Police or any other authorised persons.
• Be mindful of others wanting to watch the parade.
• Take your rubbish with you when you leave.

Or, you can join the 1500+ vehicles at the Finish Festival at the National Motor Museum in Birdwood. Soak up the wonderful atmosphere, be entertained and enjoy a day packed with motoring history fun.
