While there are no full road closures along most of the RAA Bay to Birdwood route, temporary speed restrictions and limited lane closures will be in place at various points on Sunday 18 October 2026. Motorists should expect changed traffic conditions and follow all signage and directions to ensure safety throughout the event.
If you are planning to watch the parade of historic motoring along the event route, please remember the following:
• Follow the directions of SA Police or any other authorised persons.
• Be mindful of others wanting to watch the parade.
• Take your rubbish with you when you leave.
⚠️ If planning to view the 1500 plus vehicles at the Finish Festival avoid travelling on the official route used by entrants as this will delay your arrival. Gates to the Finish Festival at the National Motor Museum open at 10am, be on the grounds to see the vehicles as they arrive.
