The Bay to Birdwood is one of the world’s great historic motoring events and has been an iconic fixture on the South Australian events calendar since 1980.
Thousands of spectators line the 67 kilometre route to view the passing parade of historic motoring from West Beach through to the National Motor Museum, Birdwood in the Adelaide Hills. The crowd admiration for the antique, veteran, vintage, post-war/early-classic, classic, post-classic and modern classics is truly inspiring. Held annually, the Bay to Birdwood is a mass-participatory citizen-collector driven historic motoring event that draws participants from around Australia and the world to celebrate historic motoring.
In 2022, the event is planned for Sunday 16 October. Vehicles manufactured prior to 1993 will be able to enter. Many entrants from the cancelled 2021 event have held over their entry for the 2022 event. The remaining and limited places in the 2022 event are expected to sell out quickly.
